In every industry far and wide you meet a variety of personalities. Over the course of four days, Stephanie and I, and a handful of amazing people had the privilege of being a part of a wedding industry creative group of like-minded individuals. To be frank, people that not only got me but fully supported me, and inspired me. My time with this group was based on three concepts. To build community, collaboration, and connections, within our group and the industry.
Being a wedding planner is more than just a job to me, it is my heart, my strength, and my passion. Each year I hone in on my skills as a planner and designer, its the one piece of advice that I can give to those out there that are staring in this bussiness- always be willing to grow and change. Don’t be afraid to reach out to new people and new ideas as they will help you broaden your bussiness scope. Create the connections with the like minded individuals, as they will become your support system. Collaborate with anyone that you can and learn from all of them, as each person has something to give including yourself. Every time I work with a new pro I walk away with something that always inspires me in the way that I run my company. I am so grateful for that. When I work with the people that I love the most- those that are like- minded I know that my team is solid and we will rise and fall as one and that is an amazing feeling to have with you are on an event together.
I am so grateful for being apart of such an amazing group and hope those in my industry follow our journey and join in on building amazing networking relationships through the efforts of community, collaboration, and connections remembering that we are all different and have something beneficial to share.
